HUMAN ACCESS in Taiz Governorate delivered medical equipment, laboratories, health supplies, medicines, and quantities of diesel to Al-Misrakh Hub Hospital in Al-Misrakh district and the Yemeni-Swedish Hospital for Maternity and Childhood in Al-Qahirah district.
It is part of the ongoing support provided by the Reproductive Health Services Support Project with funds from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since 2018, as a critical part of the humanitarian response effort in Yemen.
The administrations of both hospitals have expressed their gratitude to HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA for this vital medical assistance intended to restore and improve access to reproductive healthcare services, which are a human right, are necessary services, and save the lives of women and newborns during pregnancy and delivery.
Considering that the health system has almost collapsed as a result of the ongoing conflict, these services are among the most critical humanitarian aid.
