Yemen : MASAM Clears 2015 Mines in Abyan

The Saudi-led MASAM project has successfully cleared 2015 mines in Abyan region of Yemen.
This recent operation is part of the ongoing efforts to remove explosive remnants of war and unexploded ordnances that pose a significant threat to civilians in the area.
The cleared mines were identified as anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, which have now been safely neutralized.
Since its inception in mid-2018, the MASAM project has been instrumental in saving thousands of lives by removing numerous mines from various regions across Yemen.
The project continues to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of Yemeni communities affected by the conflict.
